Future Food is an art project about the future of food by artist Keith Hartwig.
FUTUREFOOD 2100 is work with communities and project constituents across the city of Boston to design a cookbook of the future. The project will address the mounting pressures of climate change on the food system, and the impact it will have (and is already having) on local communities.
Eastie Farm is the artist’s community partner in East Boston.
#reFuture is part of Future Food. As many families in East Boston suffer a food crisis due to the economic fallout of the coronavirus outbreak, and Eastie Farm responds to the crisis by supplying healthy food and produce to families, we take the opportunity to imagine a world where food crises that result from long supply chains and tremendous amounts of waste along the way can be avoided.
