Eastie Farm is excited to announce that we are hosting a clothing swap in partnership with Cambridge’s Patagonia on Thursday, December 21st between 12-7 p.m.
This clothing swap is a chance for Boston residents to clean out their closets, donate their unworn clothing, and swap it out. Winter gear is especially appreciated. A clothing donation is not required to attend this event or take clothes home.
In addition to the clothing swap, Patagonia staff will be tabling from 12-3:30 p.m. to assist with any repairs on Patagonia items, accept Worn Wear donations, and share their sustainability efforts. If you have any Patagonia gear that you’d like to donate, you can receive some store credit for returning it.
Clothing swaps are a great way to upcycle clothing. Not only are you cleaning out your closet, but you are also providing someone else with a “new” item. We are combating the culture of fast fashion by finding a new life for worn clothing.
Please wash all clothes before donating them.
Clothing items we accept:
- Jackets Sweaters, sweatshirts, t-shirts, or any other tops
- Jeans, leggings, sweatpants, or any other pants
- Athletic shorts, Jean shorts, or any other shorts
- Hats, gloves, scarves
- Shoes
Clothing items we will not accept:
- Undergarments
- Socks
- Swimsuits
- Jewelry
We are accepting donations prior to the event if you’d like to drop off any gear early. Please contact morgan@eastiefarm to coordinate a drop-off or with any questions.
