Past Events:
Eastie Farm hosts all types of public events throughout the year. Here are a few of our favorites:
Ready Set Grow: Eastie Farm Seed Starter
We partnered with the Boston Public Library to hold a workshop on sowing and caring for seeds. Attendees had the opportunity to learn about East Boston Branch’s very own seed bank.
Garlic Festival
In preparation for this mid-summer harvesting event, each fall we plant several beds of garlic. The festival is complete with live music and deliciously garlicky refreshments.
Halloween
Each year on the evening of October 31st, we hand out children’s books and other treats. Parents and children alike were delighted to receive mini pumpkins!
