The Student Stewards program strives to educate our community on holistic food systems, local food growing, climate change, & environmental stewardship. Through the Climate Corps fellowship program, in-garden workshops, and educational visits, Eastie Farm aims to increase access to green job training and environmental education for all ages.
Climate Corps
The Climate Corps program empowers youth and young adults aged 14-24 in the Greater Boston area to learn and act on climate solutions, developing tangible green job skills to prepare the next generation of climate problem-solvers. The program usually operates from late June through late August.
Educational Visits
The Student Stewards team offers educational tours and visits for children and youth of all ages. From elementary school classes to teen environmental clubs, we love helping young people connect to farming and environmental justice in the heart of East Boston. Educational visit slots are typically offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10:00AM – 12:00PM.
