Eastie Farm helps with Rapid Response and Food Aid during COVID outbreak

To help support food insecure families in the neighborhood, a few members from the Eastie Farm team arranged the pickup of a few hundred pounds of protein for free distribution. You can get your own care package from the Lutheran Church at 28 Paris Street today. All the meats are precooked, seasoned, and need to be frozen or consumed within the next few days. Each bag is about 9 pounds of protein. The options include: two types of chicken, pork, and tofu. The meat was donated by one of our board members, Ali Fong and her restaurant Bon Me. We hope this helps alleviate some stressors today!
